## Payment Methods

We accept:
- **Card:** Visa, Mastercard
- **Apple Pay:** iPhone, iPad, Mac
- **PayPal:** Balance, linked card, payment plans
- **Klarna:** Pay in 3, Pay in 30 days, monthly financing (varies by region and eligibility)

The payment methods available at checkout depend on your country, device, and card eligibility. If a payment method you usually use isn't available, it may not be supported in your region or on your device.

## How Payments Work

**Card:** A temporary authorization hold is placed first. Once you confirm your order, the final charge is processed. If the payment fails, the authorization is automatically removed in a few days.

**PayPal:** The full amount is charged immediately.

**Klarna:** Klarna manages all invoices directly in the Klarna app. Replacement orders are linked to the original at €0. If you cancel, the invoice is removed. When you return items, the invoice updates automatically. Always check your Klarna app for payment due dates during returns.

## Pending or Processing Charges

It's normal to see pending charges after failed attempts, method changes during checkout, or bank verifications. These typically disappear in a few business days. If they persist beyond that, your bank can remove them on request.

## Why Payments Fail

### Your Bank Blocked It
- Enable online and international payments in your bank app
- Try a different card
- Use PayPal, Apple Pay, or Klarna instead
- Ask your bank to allow our payments

### Insufficient Funds or Card Limits
- Check your account balance
- Check your daily, monthly, or prepaid card limits
- Try a different card or payment method

### 3D Secure Failed
- You didn't enter the code in time
- You didn't approve the push notification from your bank
- You didn't open your bank app when required
- Try again and watch for your bank's notification

### Browser or Device Issues
- Using a VPN, ad blocker, or pop-up blocker
- Outdated browser
- Autofill errors
- Cached session issues
- **Solutions:** Refresh the page, try a different browser, disable your VPN, clear your browser cache

### Klarna Not Approved
Klarna has its own internal approval checks. Try another payment method or check your Klarna app for details.

### PayPal Error
- Insufficient balance in your PayPal account
- Your linked card was declined by your bank
- PayPal account needs verification
- **Solutions:** Update your linked card, try again, contact PayPal

### "Something Went Wrong" Error
- Your session expired
- The payment provider is experiencing an outage
- A browser extension blocked the payment redirect
- **Solutions:** Refresh the page, try a different browser, try a different payment method

## When to Escalate to an Agent

- You've tried multiple payment methods and still can't complete checkout
- You see a charge in your account but didn't receive an order confirmation
- You suspect unauthorized card use
- You're unsure whether your order went through
